4 more by-election nominations lodged
*

Four more people have submitted nominations for the Legislative Council by-election for the Hong Kong Island geographical constituency, bringing the total to seven.

 

The latest nominees are company directors Tandon Lal Chaing and Ling Wai-wan, worker Lau Yuk-shing, and solicitor Siu See-kong.

 

The other three nominees are barrister Lee Wing-kin, Savantas Policy Institute Chairperson Regina Ip, and former civil servant Anson Chan. Their nominations were submitted on October 17 and 22.
