4 more by-election nominations lodged
*

Four more people have submitted nominations for the Legislative Council by-election for the Hong Kong Island geographical constituency, bringing the total to seven.

 

The latest nominees are company directors Tandon Lal Chaing and Ling Wai-wan, worker Lau Yuk-shing, and solicitor Siu See-kong.

 

The other three nominees are barrister Lee Wing-kin, Savantas Policy Institute Chairperson Regina Ip, and former civil servant Anson Chan. Their nominations were submitted on October 17 and 22.

 

The nomination period will run until October 31 and voting will take place on December 2. Click here for more details on the by-election.
