Appointments
2 senior officers to get new posts

Director of Food & Environmental Hygiene Eddy Chan has been appointed Commissioner for Innovation & Technology from November 30 to succeed the retiring Anthony Wong.

 

Deputy Secretary for Food & Health (Food) Warner Cheuk will assume the post of Director of Food & Environmental Hygiene on December 3.

Senior appointments: Eddy Chan will succeed the retiring Anthony Wong as the Commissioner for Innovation & Technology on November 30, while Warner Cheuk will assume the post of Director of Food & Environmental Hygiene on December 3.

Secretary for the Civil Service Denise Yue today said the appointees will continue to serve the community with professionalism and dedication in their new capacities, and lead their offices to meet the challenges ahead.

 

Praising Mr Wong's contributions to the development of the telecommunications industry and the promotion of innovation and technology, Miss Yue wished him a happy retirement.
