LPG ceiling prices to rise
*
Electrical & Mechanical Services Department

Liquefied petroleum gas ceiling prices at dedicated filling stations will climb 15 to 16 cents a litre in July, to range from $3.36 to $3.75.

The Electrical & Mechanical Services Department said the July 1 adjustment reflects the movement of LPG international prices in June. It is made according to the terms and conditions in the stations' contracts.

Prices are adjusted according to a specified pricing formula, which has two elements - the LPG international price of the preceding month and LPG operating price. The LPG operating price will be adjusted on the first day of February every year according to movement in the Composite Consumer Price Index in the previous year.

Details of LPG international prices and the auto ceiling price of each LPG station are available here.
