Elderly Commission appoints new member
*

The Government has appointed Dr John Wong, and re-appointed Anita Wong and Professor Jean Woo, to the Elderly Commission for a two-year term with effect from July 30.

 

A Kwai Chung Hospital psychiatrist, Dr Wong is an elected member of the Kowloon City District Council and serves on the Appeal Board Panel (Town Planning), Criminal & Law Enforcement Injuries Compensation Boards and Home Purchase Allowance Appeals Committee Panel. 

 

Secretary for Health, Welfare & Food Dr York Chow welcomed the members' move, and thanked departing member Dr Ng Yau-yung for his contributions during the tenure.
