A forum will be held August 3 to gauge public views on proposed guidelines on election-related activities in respect of the Election Committee Subsector Elections.
It will be held at the Harbour Centre, Wan Chai, at 2.30pm. Written representations can be sent to the Electoral Affairs Commission Secretariat at 10/F Harbour Centre, 25 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, up to August 14. Submissions by fax (2511 1682) or email (eacenq@reo.gov.hk) will also be accepted.
The commission said the guidelines will be revised as appropriate taking into account representations that are received during the consultation period. The finalised guidelines will be promulgated in October.
Copies of the proposed guidelines are available from the Registration & Electoral Office and all District Offices. They can also be downloaded from the commission's website.
