North District Council post vacant
*
Home Affairs Department

The Director for Home Affairs will declare by notice in the Gazette tomorrow the vacancy of the offices of Li Kwok-fung, a North District Council ex-officio member and an elected Indigenous Inhabitant Representative of Ko Po in the Fanling District Rural Committee.

Li was jailed four months by Fanling Magistracy on May 12 for making false claims for reimbursements for rental expenses.

A District Council ex-officio member and an elected indigenous inhabitant representative are disqualified from holding offices if they are convicted of an offence and jailed for more than three months.
