On the record: The Government yearbook Hong Kong 2004 is now on sale.

The latest Government yearbook, Hong Kong 2004, has been published, offering a comprehensive review of Hong Kong's progress last year.

Launched at the Hong Kong Book Fair today, it is 21 chapters of facts and figures on Hong Kong life, from health and welfare, housing and education to the economy, monetary affairs and the legal system.

The Hong Kong: The Facts page which opens the book is a quick reference to vital statistics, while more than 60 pages of appendices support individual chapters.

The redesigned book features a new page layout and cover, and 12 colour sections featuring 120 photos.

English and Chinese editions at $128 are available at the Information Services Department book fair booth at the Convention & Exhibition Centre, along with more than 100 other Government publications, and a 25% discount is being offered on most items.
