Appointments

Soccer betting body reappointed
*

Incumbent chairman Moses Cheng has been reappointed to the Football Betting & Lotteries Commission, along with 11 members, for a two-year term from August 1.

 

Secretary for Home Affairs Dr Patrick Ho welcomed the appointments and thanked outgoing member Lee Wing-yun for her valuable contributions.

 

Dr Ho said the commission will address a wide range of public concerns on authorised soccer betting and lotteries, and advise the Government on matters relating to gambling regulations.

 

Members are: Moses Cheng (Chairman), Paul Chan, Ho Hon-kuen, Father Peter Newbery, Paul Fan, Felix Fong, Fanny Lai, Albert Hung, Wong Kwan-yu, the Commissioner of Police, Permanent Secretary for Education & Manpower and Director of Home Affairs.
