More Mainland medical supplies arrive

Another batch of medical supplies and protective gear against SARS has been donated by the Central Government.

 

The batch includes one million surgical masks, 600,000 sets of protective clothes, about 138,000 eye shields, 20,000 face shields and 350 sets of infrared thermal imaging machines.

 

Deputy Director of the Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office Qiu Jianhua led a team of 12 to hand over the supplies at the Central Government Offices today.

 

Richard Yuen, from the Chief Executive's Office, received the equipment on the Government's behalf. Representatives from the Hospital Authority and the Health, Welfare & Food Bureau also attended.
