Police are conducting a thorough investigation into the violent attack on the Legislative Council Complex last night.
Police Public Relations Branch Chief Superintendent Steve Hui told the media today six men have been arrested and more arrests are possible, adding the force will not tolerate violence
On the court injunction on the occupation of roads in Mong Kok, Mr Hui said Police have met with the plaintiff and the bailiffs, and are ready to help them execute the order.
He said the Court of First Instance has authorised bailiffs to help the plaintiff remove obstructions, and they can ask for Police assistance when necessary.
Police will take resolute action if anyone obstructs or charges the bailiffs, he added, urging protesters to obey the court order, remove obstacles and stop the illegal occupation.
