The Department of Health is monitoring 10 newly reported Middle East Respiratory Syndrome cases - nine in Saudi Arabia and one in Oman.
The patients involved are aged 26 to 75. Four have died.
No human cases have been recorded locally.
In addition to the 41 laboratory-confirmed MERS cases in Korea, 1,149 cases have been reported to the World Health Organisation globally, including at least 440 deaths.
The department urged travellers to the Middle East not to go places where camels are kept and to avoid unnecessary visits to healthcare facilities.
Travel agents organising tours to the Middle East are advised not to arrange camel rides and activities involving the animals, which may increase the risk of infection.
