The Department of Health is monitoring 14 newly reported Middle East Respiratory Syndrome cases, 12 in Saudi Arabia, and one each in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
The patients are aged 24 to 74, and two have died.
No human cases have been recorded locally.
The department advises travel agents organising tours to the Middle East not to arrange camel rides and activities involving camel contact, which may increase the risk of infection.
As Ramadan will begin in mid-June, the department reminds pilgrims preparing to visit the Middle East to stay vigilant against the disease.
