The Department of Health is monitoring five newly reported Middle East Respiratory Syndrome cases - four in Saudi Arabia and one in Korea.
The patients involved are a man and four women. One has died.
No human cases have been recorded locally.
To date, 1,139 laboratory-confirmed MERS cases have been reported to the World Health Organisation globally, including at least 431 deaths.
The department advises travel agents organising tours to the Middle East not to arrange camel rides and activities involving camel contact, which may increase the risk of infection.
As Ramadan will begin in mid-June, the department reminds pilgrims preparing to visit the Middle East to stay vigilant against the disease.
