The Department of Health is monitoring four newly reported Middle East Respiratory Syndrome cases in Saudi Arabia, including one death.
The cases involve four male patients aged 49 to 93.
To date, 1,110 laboratory-confirmed MERS cases have been reported to the World Health Organisation globally, including at least 422 deaths.
Locally, no human cases have been recorded.
The department advises travel agents organising tours to the Middle East not to arrange camel rides and activities involving camel contact, which may increase the risk of infection.
