The Department of Health is monitoring four newly reported Middle East Respiratory Syndrome cases in Saudi Arabia, including two deaths.
The patients, aged 51 to 82, include three men and a woman. One, a 51-year-old health worker, had contact with a previously confirmed patient.
Three previously confirmed patients died.
To date, 1,106 laboratory-confirmed MERS cases have been reported to the World Health Organisation globally, including at least 421 deaths.
Locally, no human cases have been recorded.
The department advises travel agents organising tours to the Middle East not to arrange camel rides and activities involving camel contact, which may increase the risk of infection.
