Man tests negative for coronavirus

A 40-year-old man in Queen Elizabeth Hospital with a fever has tested negative for Novel Coronavirus associated with Severe Respiratory Disease.
The Centre for Health Protection received a report from the hospital today on the man, who had travelled to Dubai and Tehran with his family.
The man had a fever on February 20, and was admitted to the hospital’s isolation ward on February 22. He tested positive for influenza B. He is stable, and his family members have showed no symptoms.
No human infection with this virus has been identified so far in Hong Kong.
