Chief Executive CY Leung announced today the appointment of Tommy Cheung and Martin Liao to the Executive Council with immediate effect.
Mr Leung noted the rich experience of Mr Cheung and Mr Liao in the Legislative Council and public service, as well as their significant contributions to the sectors they belong to.
He was confident they will offer valuable advice and effectively assist in policymaking after joining ExCo.
