Man killed in Kwun Tong traffic accident

A 35-year-old private car driver was killed and a 58-year-old bus driver was injured in a traffic accident in Kwun Tong early this morning.

 

At about 5.30am, a private car which was travelling westbound across the Kai Fuk Road flyover reportedly ran across the opposite carriageway and collided with a bus near the Construction Industry Training Centre.

 

Sustaining injuries, both drivers were rushed to United Christian Hospital where the car driver was certified dead at 6.51am.

 

Kowloon East Traffic Special Investigation Team is investigating.
