1 dead, 1 injured in Yuen Long car crash
*
Hong Kong Police

A 29-year-old driver died and his 28-year-old passenger was injured in a car crash in Yuen Long early this morning. Police ask anyone who saw the accident to call  2455 4221 or 2675 3325.

At about 5am, the man was driving along a Long Tin Road slip road. As he turned left into the Tuen Mun-bound land of Castle Peak Road in Ping Shan, he apparently lost control and crashed into the central divider.

Firefighters rescued him and sent him to Tuen Mun Hospital, where he was certified dead at 5:43am. The young woman in the car with him was also injured and sent to the same hospital.

The New Territories North special traffic investigation team is following up.
