Info sought on body found floating at sea

Police are appealing for information about a body found floating off the sea in Western District on May 5.

 

At about 2pm that day, Police received a report that the body of a man was floating off New Praya Kennedy Town.

 

The body is believed to be that of a Chinese man aged  40 to 60 years. He was about 1.65 metres tall, weighed about 59kg and was of medium build. He was wearing black checkered shorts.

 

Initial investigations revealed no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

 

The man's next of kin or anyone with information is urged to contact the Marine District's crime squad on 2803 6149, or any Police station.
