142 tickets issued in Kowloon East

Hong Kong Police

Police issued 142 fixed penalty tickets and 130 summonses to motorists and pedestrians who violated traffic regulations during an operation in Kowloon East yesterday.

 

A total of 190 pedestrians and 93 drivers were verbally warned for jaywalking and other minor offences.

 

Another 115 fixed penalty tickets were issued for parking offences.

 

In the first four months of the year 626 traffic accidents occurred in Kowloon East.
