Nepal travel alert issued
*

The Security Bureau today issued an amber travel alert for Nepal due to large demonstrations in the country.

 

People planning to visit Nepal, and those already there, should monitor the situation and exercise caution. Updates will be issued through the media and the bureau's webpage.

 

Meanwhile, the amber alert for Turkey was removed today.

 

People needing assistance while outside Hong Kong can call the Immigration Department's 24-hour hotline (852) 1868.
