Mother dies, son missing in Tsing Yi

Hong Kong Police

A 38-year-old woman has died and her seven-year-old son gone missing after they reportedly fell into the sea off Tsing Yi South Bridge.

 

At about 2pm today, Police received several reports that the two people fell from the bridge.

 

The woman was later rescued and sent to Princess Margaret Hospital where she died at 2.38pm. Her son has not yet been found and the search continues.

   

A post-mortem examination will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of the woman's death.
