The Immigration Department has arrested nine Mainlanders illegally working as renovators in Siu Lam.

Officers raided a three-storey villa on Kwun Fung Street today, which had a garden and swimming pool under renovation. The workers were found hiding under the pool.

They were arrested for breaching their conditions of stay and remaining in Hong Kong illegally. The person-in-charge of the villa and the workers' contractual employer are being located for enquiries.
