*
Customs & Excise Department

Customs officers have arrested four men after seizing 140kg of ketamine worth $16 million at Man Kam To checkpoint.

A 53-year-old container truck driver was arrested after officers found the drug hidden in a consignment declared to be loudspeakers.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old driver in Kwai Chung the following day when he came to collect the load. Two men aged 29 and 35, recipients of the consignment, were later arrested in Tsuen Wan.

The pair will be charged with drug trafficking and will appear in Tsuen Wan Magistracy tomorrow. The two drivers have been released on bail.
