A truck driven by a 34-year-old man was travelling along the highway towards Tsing Yi and stopped in the fourth lane near Lai King with a flat left tyre about 2pm.

The taxi later lost control and crashed into the back of the truck. The taxi driver sustained serious injuries and died at Prince Margaret Hospital at 2.35pm. Three male passengers in the taxi, aged 29-42, were injured.
