Taxi strikes, kills woman in Tuen Mun

A 57-year-old woman has died after she was knocked down by a taxi yesterday in Tuen Mun.

 

At about 5.30pm, a 63-year-old man was driving his taxi north along Tuen Mun Heung Sze Wui Road when he reportedly stuck the woman as she was pushing a handcart on the roadside, near the junction of Tuen Hing Road.

 

She was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital where she died at  10.28pm.

 

Anyone who saw the accident are urged to contact Police at 3661 3800.
