Taxi driver dies in Aberdeen crash

A 54-year-old taxi driver has died following a head-on collision with a minibus in Aberdeen.

 

About 8.10am today, the taxi was travelling along Repulse Bay Road towards Stanley. As it approached the junction with Headland Road, it reportedly crossed into the opposite lane and collided with the minibus.    

 

The taxi driver and a male taxi passenger and nine minibus passengers were taken to Queen Mary Hospital and Eastern Hospital. The taxi driver was certified dead at 8.55am.

 

People who saw the accident should contact Police on 3106 8800 or 3106 8849.
