Man given community service order for assault
*
Food & Environmental Hygiene Department

Kwun Tong Magistracy has ordered a man who assaulted a Food & Environmental Hygiene officer to do 160 hours of community service.

The officer was attacked on February 3, when he was inspecting shops at the junction of Kam Chi Path and Wah Chi Path in Ngau Chi Wan Village and asked the man to clear goods that were blocking public access.

The department urged the public to co-operate with law-enforcement officers in the execution of their duties.
