7,500 youngsters join anti-drug day
No drugs, no regrets: About 7,500 youngsters and Junior Police Call members participate in the second Junior Police Call Territory-wide Anti-drug Day.
*

About 7,500 youngsters and Junior Police Call members participated in anti-drug educational or publicity activities in the second Junior Police Call Territory-wide Anti-drug Day today.

Supported by the Beat Drugs Fund and launched last December the campaign reinforces anti-drug education and publicity among youngsters, and raises public awareness of youth drug abuse.

With the participation of 80 primary and secondary schools 40 events were held, including school talks, leaflet distributions, drug infocentre visits, day camps, fun fairs, bicycle parades and pledging ceremonies.
