1 dead, 1 injured in Lok Ma Chau crash

A 26-year-old driver was killed after his car rammed into a lorry travelling in the opposite lane in Lok Ma Chau. The 45-year-old lorry driver was also injured.

 

The car was traveling along the San Tin section of Castle Peak Road towards Yuen Long when the accident happened at about 5.23pm. As it approached a petrol station past Kwu Tung Road, it rammed into the lorry.

 

The private car driver was sent to North District Hospital where he died at 6.14.

 

Police urge anyone who saw the accident to call 2675 3325.
