Police are appealing for information on a Chai Wan traffic accident in which an 81-year-old woman died after being hit by a taxi.

 

At 5.46pm yesterday a taxi driven by a 49-year-old man was travelling north on Hoi Ning Street. When turning into Hing Man Street, the vehicle hit the woman who was crossing the road.

 

The woman was taken to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital where she died at 11.49pm on the same day.

 

Anyone who saw the incident should call Police on 3106 8800.
