In view of the recent developments in Madagascar, the Security Bureau today advised Hong Kong residents who plan to visit the country to pay close attention to the situation there and consider adjusting or postponing their travel plans.

Those who are already there should attend to their personal safety and avoid places where there are protests or large gatherings of people.
