Man dies in Tai Po traffic accident

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tai Po today in which a 51-year-old man was killed.

 

A lorry driven by a 31-year-old man was travelling on Lam Kam Road towards Pat Heung at about 10.50am. At Ling Wan Monastery the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle. It rammed into an iron railing and rolled over.

 

The driver and 51-year-old passenger were taken to Pok Oi Hospital and Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital where the passenger was later certified dead.

 

Witnesses should call Police on 2675 3325.
