Motorcyclist dies in Chai Wan accident

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Chai Wan tonight in which a 46-year-old motorcyclist was killed.

 

The man was driving westbound along Island Eastern Corridor towards North Point when he was hit by a car changing lanes near A Kung Ngam at around 8.50pm.

 

He was sent to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital where he was certified dead at 9.21pm.

 

The 36-year-old car driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death.

 

Witnesses should call 3106 8800 or 3106 8848.
