The Security Bureau urges Hong Kong people planning to visit Israel and neighbouring areas to monitor the situation there. Those already in Israel should watch their personal safety.

The Government will liaise with the Mainland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chinese embassy in Israel to check the latest situation.

The Immigration Department has received no requests for assistance so far. Hong Kong residents who need assistance abroad can call the department's hotline (852)1868.
