Minibus driver arrested in fatal Yuen Long accident

An unidentified man, aged about 70, was killed in a traffic accident in Yuen Long this afternoon. A 58-year-old minibus driver was arrested.

 

The minibus knocked down the old man when the driver was reversing on Tai Lee Street at about 1.05pm. The pedestrian was sent to Pok Oi Hospital and died at 1.42pm.

 

The minibus driver was arrested for reckless driving and has been released on bail.
