Customs detected 239 drug cases and arrested 207 people at land boundary checkpoints in the year's first 11 months.
The department today said up to the end of November, 42 people under 21 were arrested in 41 drug cases upon their arrival at Hong Kong checkpoints.
The department said it will stay vigilant to combat cross-boundary drug trafficking during the holidays and will pay special attention to youngsters travelling across the boundary.
It will maintain close contact with local and overseas enforcement agencies to strengthen intelligence exchange.
