Anti-drug action

At the quarterly meeting today Action Committee Against Narcotics members agreed the youth care initiative, Path Builders, is an effective and sustainable way to tackle youth drug abuse and other problems.

Many significant sectors have already pledged support to it to help build a drug-free and caring culture in the community.

Commissioner for Narcotics Sally Wong said government departments will work with various sectors to help youngsters stay away from drugs and make the campaign a success.

Also launched were a second round of television and radio announcements in mid-September, and a short film competition and drama workshop spreading anti-drug messages.
