Man charged with murder in Sheung Shui

Police have charged a 27-year-old man with one count of murder in connection with a 19-year-old woman's death in Sheung Shui on August 21. He will appear in Fanling Magistracy on August 25.

 

At about 3.50pm, a 17-year-old man called Police to say he had found his older brother and his brother's girlfriend lying unconscious at his residence in Wah Ming Estate.

 

Officers found the 27-year-old man with a pair of scissors in his neck and the woman lying unconscious on the bed.

The man was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital while the woman was sent to North District Hospital, where she was certified dead at 4.35pm.
