Tuen Mun murder-suicide probed
*
Hong Kong Police

Police are investigating the deaths of a 33-year-old man and three-year-old girl in Tuen Mun.

At about 3.50pm, a 28-year-old woman called Police to report that her husband and daughter were found lying unconscious inside their residence at No. 45 Lung Mun Road. A basin with burnt charcoal was found nearby.

The man and his daughter were sent to Tuen Mun Hospital where they were certified dead at 4.48pm and 4.44pm.

Investigations suggest the man locked himself and his daughter inside the bedroom and lit charcoal to commit suicide.

Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of their death.
