Fire Services Department

A No 3 alarm fire at a Kwai Chung industrial building was put out at 11.31pm last night, with three people rescued from the building.

The fire broke out at 4.36pm yesterday at a toy storage on the eighth floor of Grand Industrial Building and was upgraded to a No 3 alarm at 4.57pm.

Firefighters used seven jets, six breathing apparatus teams and 29 fire engines to fight the blaze.

Three firemen who felt unwell were sent to Princess Margaret Hospital. Two of them have been discharged.

No suspicious circumstances were detected.
