Blackmail suspect extradited

A 37-year-old man wanted for blackmail has been extradited to Hong Kong by the Zhuhai Public Security Bureau.

 

The suspect reportedly blackmailed his former girlfriend in March and April last year and threatened to upload their intimate videos on the Internet if she did not make up with him. He fled to the Mainland afterwards.

 

He was located by Zhuhai authorities on June 28 and returned to Hong Kong yesterday.

 

He has been charged with one count of blackmail and will appear in Kowloon City Magistracy today.
