Woman dies, man burned in suspected arson case
*
Hong Kong Police

A woman fell to her death and a man was seriously burned in a suspected arson case in Po Tin Estate in Tuen Mun last night.

Police received reports of a fire in a flat in the estate at about 6:30pm. When they arrived, they found the woman had fallen and was lying outside block 4. She was certified dead at the scene.

Firefighters rescued a 54-year-old man from the blazing flat. He was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital and later transferred to Prince of Wales Hospital for burns treatment.

A post-mortem later today will help establish how the woman died.
