Man charged for Tai Po murder
*
Hong Kong Police

Police have charged a 24-year-old man for the May 15 murder of a 21-year-old woman in Tai Po.

The woman did not return home after work on that day, and her family reported this to Police on May 16. She was believed to have been robbed and then killed in Tai Po. Her body was found yesterday morning in a nullah on Tai Po Tai Wo Road.

The man was arrested on May 22 and will appear in Fanling Magistracy on May 26.

A post-mortem today failed to pinpoint the cause of the woman's death. Further examinations will be conducted.
