1 dead, 1 injured in Sha Tin crash

A 41-year-old man has been killed and a 39-year-old man injured in a Sha Tin crash in which two vans collided near Kam Shan Country Park.

 

At about 12.35pm, the 41-year-old man was driving his van along Tai Po Road towards Kowloon. Near Kam Shan Country Park, the van crossed into the opposite lane and collided with the van driven by the 39-year-old man.

 

The older man was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital where he was certified dead at 2.16pm while the other man was sent to the Prince of Wales Hospital.

 

Witnesses should call Police on 3661 1300.
