Police heads share Olympic intelligence

Hong Kong, Guangdong and Macau police have held the 14th three-way meeting to exchange views on combating cross-boundary crime and share intelligence on the Olympic Torch Relay.

 

Speaking after the meeting today, Acting Commissioner of Police Yam Tat-wing said they had in-depth exchanges on the latest trends in cross-boundary crimes, combating strategies and crime investigation.

 

He said the close liaison between three places has had a positive impact on combating cross-boundary crimes.

 

Guangdong Public Security Department Deputy Director General Zheng Dong led the Guangdong delegation, while Unitary Police Service Commissioner General Jose Proenca Branco led the Macau delegation.
