Husband charged for wife's murder

Police today charged a 39-year-old man with one count of murder, in connection with his 40-year-old wife's death in Tsuen Wan on April 24. He will appear at Tsuen Wan Magistracy on May 5.

 

At 10pm on April 24, the man reported his wife was being attacked and injured at the rear lane of 2-6 Tak Wah Street.

 

The woman sustained a serious head injury and was later confirmed dead at scene. A hammer was found at the scene.

 

Her husband was a suspect in the case and arrested on May 1.
