Motorcyclist dies in Sham Shui Po collision

A 34-year-old man has died after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a taxi in Sham Shui Po this evening.

 

The accident occurred at about 9.40pm. The motorcyclist was driving westbound on Tonkin Street West, while the taxi was traveling southbound along Lin Cheung Road. They crashed at the junction of the two streets.

 

The motorcyclist and a 40-year-old woman who was a passenger in the taxi were sent to Caritas Medical Centre. The man was certified dead at 10.10pm.

 

The Kowloon West special traffic investigation team is following up. Anyone who saw the acident is asked to contact Police on 2773 5200.
