Hong Kong Police

Police have arrested 31 men and seven women, aged 17 to 63, in an anti-burglary operation in Kowloon West, seizing seven watches worth $300,000 and $15,000 in sharks' fin.

Sixteen men and three women are believed to be behind eight burglary cases in the region in the last four months. The others were arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, theft from vehicles, deception or overstaying.

Two men and two women were each charged with burglary and appeared in Kowloon City Magistracy today. The others were released on bail.
